Muzoil's Impregnation and Removal Protocols

Impregnation with Vacuum and Pressure

  1. 1Submersion

    Ensure fissures are clean, unobstructed and perfectly dry.Place the stone in a container and pour Muzoil over it.Can be slightly heated to reduce Muzoil's viscosity.

  2. 2Vacuum

    Apply vacuum until air bubbles stop emerging.Gradually return to ambient pressure.

  3. 3Pressure

    Keep the stone immersed and transfer to a pressure chamber.Apply pressure, maintain as required, then release gradually.

  4. 4Stabilization

    Allow a passive soak at atmospheric pressure and ambient temperature.

  5. 5Finishing

    Remove the stone and wipe with a non-absorbent, lint-free cloth.

Removal at Ambient Pressure and Temperature

  1. 1Dissolution

    Soak in White Spirit.

  2. 2Rinsing

    Soak in Acetone.

  3. 3Cleaning

    Soak in Alcohol.

  4. 4Drying

    Allow the stone to air dry.
